March 28, 2024

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

Replacement COVID-19 antigen tests will be restocked at all existing pick-up locations throughout the day tomorrow. Please read our March 26 community message for information on disposing of any tests picked up before March 27. In addition, I’ve included information below on upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics, the CDC’s new respiratory virus guidance, and Dartmouth resources for managing long COVID.

Tomorrow and on Friday, April 5, students, faculty, and staff can get a free COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) at clinics in Paganucci Lounge in the Class of 1953 Commons. Clinics are open tomorrow from noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. and next Friday from 7 to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. Please schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome. COVID-19 antigen tests will be available for pick-up at each clinic.

The CDC has new respiratory virus guidance that includes information about managing COVID-19, flu, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). If you have questions about your health, please reach out to your health care provider. Students can contact the Dartmouth Health Service.

The effects of having COVID-19 are broad and varied and can include being sick with an active case of COVID-19 as well as experiencing chronic symptoms that persist after being infected. If you are managing one of these conditions, please see coping with COVID-19 and long COVID for resources and support.

Thank you for all you are doing to keep yourself and our community healthy.

Sincerely,

Estevan Garcia
Chief Health and Wellness Officer
