To the Dartmouth community,

As we approach the end of the undergraduate winter term, and with many of our graduate and professional students also on break, we want to remind everyone that twice-weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing to screen employees and students living both on and off campus in the Upper Valley will continue during spring break at Thompson Arena. Beginning March 20, on-campus testing will move to Leverone Field House for the rest of the academic year.

Dartmouth continues to discourage non-essential travel at this time. Our travel and arrival quarantine policies will be similar to what they were during winter term as outlined on the COVID-19 website: https://covid.dartmouth.edu/coming-to-campus. We are aware that state and CDC guidelines have changed but much of our Dartmouth population remains unvaccinated and we are not yet ready to shift our policy. We will revisit these guidelines during spring break as we continue to monitor the progress of vaccination and disease prevalence. Those who may be traveling over break should continue to follow the travel quarantine guidelines in their state. Vermont travel guidelines are available at https://www.healthvermont.gov/covid-19/travel-quarantine. New Hampshire travel guidance is online at https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/dphs/cdcs/covid19/documents/travel-guidance.pdf.

Thank you for helping our community remain healthy as we look toward the promise of spring. We hope everyone has a chance to enjoy a well-deserved break.

Sincerely,

Lisa V. Adams
