April 9, 2021

To the Dartmouth community,

We write today to share with you good news from the governor of New Hampshire: All members of the Dartmouth community will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations starting the week of April 19.

We are in contact with state and regional health officials about options for providing vaccinations on our campus or in the nearby area, and we anticipate being able to provide information about these options by the end of next week. In addition, starting April 19, members of our community age 16 and older can register to be vaccinated through the state's website https://www.vaccines.nh.gov/. If you need to schedule your second vaccine in New Hampshire, call 211 (calling from in-state) or 866-444-4211 (calling from out-of-state).

Also next week we will be announcing updated travel guidelines for students, faculty, and staff.

Dartmouth employees have already received an email from Occupational Medicine, which is partnering with Axiom Medical to manage employee vaccination records. The email included instructions on uploading vaccination records. To voluntarily submit your completed vaccination information to Axiom Medical and provide consent to Dartmouth's limited use of this information please complete the following form: http://dartgo.org/vax

Students received an email message this morning from Dick's House with instructions on where to submit their vaccination records if they haven't already.

We encourage everyone to upload their vaccination records as soon as you have received your last dose. This means after the single dose for Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine or after the second dose for Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna. We will use this information about your vaccinations to determine our ability to adjust guidelines in the coming weeks.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control continues to discourage medium and large group gatherings, and encourages everyone, whether vaccinated or not, to continue the practice of wearing face masks and maintaining physical distance when in the company of others, and Dartmouth's policy continues to require these precautions.

As always, thank you for helping to maintain the health and safety of our community.

Sincerely,

Lisa V. Adams
