HEALTH GUIDANCE

Follow the CDC’s respiratory virus guidance that includes:

  • Staying up to date with your immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccines.

  • If you have symptoms of a respiratory virus, stay home and away from others.

    • You can return to regular activities when, for at least 24 hours, your symptoms are getting better overall, and you have not had a fever and are not using fever-reducing medication.

    • After returning to regular activities, take precautions for at least five days. If you develop a fever or start to feel worse, stay home and away from others again.

  • If you test positive for a respiratory virus but do not have symptoms, take precautions for at least five days because you may be contagious.

  • If you or the people around you are sick, were recently exposed to a respiratory virus, or have risk factors for severe illness, take precautions.

  • Precautions include taking steps for cleaner air, practicing good hygiene, wearing masks, physical distancing, and testing.
